How to Use ZANTAC EFFERdose |

Note: It is important to follow your physician's instructions. Phenylketonurics: ZANTAC EFFERdose contains phenylalanine. ZANTAC EFFERdose is for children one month and older with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Tablet should be completely dissolved in no less than 5 mL of water before administering the solution to the infant or child. Tablet is not to be chewed, swallowed whole, or dissolved on the tongue. Safety and efficacy in neonates (less than 1 month of age) and in pediatric patients for the treatment of pathological hypersecretory conditions or the maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis have not been established. The following have been reported as events in clinical trials or in the routine management of patients treated with ZANTAC: headache, sometimes severe; abdominal discomfort/pain; nausea and vomiting; constipation; rash; and diarrhea.
